This 1/2-hard, 12/20 yellow gold-filled tubing is ideal for a wide range of fabrication tasks. Use it to create hinges or spring bars for movable component parts, create linings for bead holes (to protect both the bead and the cord), create eyelets or rivets for cold connections, or create spring bars for custom watch bands.Metal that is 1/2-hard is partially work-hardened and will hold its shape under some stress; ideal for forming structures that will support other components. To avoid annealing, use this material only after soldering processes. Keep in mind that hardness is changeable by annealing, heat-hardening or work-hardening.This tubing is available in 12" lengths; due to the cutting capabilities of the saw, minimum purchase is 1". All cuts are handmade.
