14/20 Yellow Gold-Filled 7.3 x Oval "1/20 14K" Tag with Two Holes

This oval 14/20 yellow gold-filled double-clad quality tag (sometimes called a design or jewelry tag) is stamped with "1/20 14K" and has a hole at each end. Attach it between links on chain necklaces or bracelets to let your customers know what is special about your design; stamp or lightly engrave information such as the country of origin ("Made in the USA") or your logo or signature design. For a different look, engrave this tag deeply to expose the base-metal substrate and create a two-tone look. The tag is die struck with clean, crisp edges and will require some finishing to smooth its edges and polish its surface. Gold-filled items are made by heat- and pressure-bonding a layer of karat gold to a base-metal core. The 14/20 notation refers to the ratio of karat gold to base-metal core by weight; the first figure is the karat value of the gold layer, the second is the total percentage (by weight) of precious metal contained in the item. On double-clad items, the quantity of precious metal is divided between the upper and lower surfaces of the core metal.
