14/20 Yellow Gold-Filled 8.9 x Heart Tag, 0.51mm

Attach this 24-gauge, 8.9 x 7.1mm 14/20 yellow gold-filled double-clad heart quality tag (sometimes called a design or jewelry tag) to let your customers know what is special about your design; stamp or lightly engrave information such as the purity of the metal, country of origin ("Made in the USA"), or your logo or signature design. For a different look, engrave this tag deeply to create a two-tone look once you form the stamping as desired. The tag is die struck with clean, crisp edges and will require some finishing to smooth its edges and polish its surface. Gold-filled items are made by heat- and pressure-bonding a layer of 14K (or 12K) gold to a base-metal core. The 14/20 notation refers to the ratio of karat gold to base-metal core by weight; the first figure is the karat value of the gold layer, the second is the total percentage (by weight) of precious metal contained in the item. On double-clad items, the quantity of precious metal is divided between the upper and lower surfaces of the core metal.
