Bonny Doon Medium Combination Forming Stake

This combination forming stake from Bonny Doon delivers a high level of stability; the hexagonal center of the stake clamps securely in a bench vise, providing a more stable work surface than traditional forming stakes. This stake is CNC-milled, so has less flex than traditional stakes. The combination synclastic/anticlastic shape of this stake allows you to form anticlastic shapes in the depressions and synclastic shapes on the convex surfaces. The stake has three graduated syclastic forms on one end and two on the other end. The stake can be secured in most standard bench vises; for the most secure hold, use with the Bonny Doon vertical vise—the points of the hex shape index into the grooves in the vise face, providing an uncompromising grip on the stake.
