The patented AutoValve™ crucible design speeds reprocessing of sprues and buttons. Use this crucible with the patented AutoValve disc insert. Created using isostatic pressure, a process that makes the crucible significantly more dense and therefore less absorptive, this crucible is ideal for working with white gold and high-karat yellow gold (18-karat and higher). Higher-grade C-50 graphite crucibles stand up to the high production demands of the Neutec® 615 casting machine. The denser graphite stands up better to their solvent characteristics to deliver a longer service life when used with these metals. High-quality graphite delivers exceptional results for all alloys, including high-karat yellow gold and all white gold. Graphite crucibles help scavenge any remaining oxygen from your melt, reducing oxidation of the metal and delivering cleaner pours and finer after-cast surfaces.
