C-50 Graphite Grain-Making Crucible
Patented AutoValveâ„¢ design speeds reprocessing of sprues and buttons. Use this crucible with the patented AutoValve disc insert. Created using isostatic pressure, a process that makes the crucible significantly more dense and therefore less absorptive, this crucible is ideal for working with white gold and high-karat yellow gold (18-karat and higher). The denser graphite stands up better to their solvent characteristics to deliver a longer service life when used with these metals. Graphite crucibles help scavenge any remaining oxygen from your melt, reducing oxidation of the metal and delivering cleaner casting grain and alloy. Design features five 1.8mm holes.
