Made from high-heat ceramic, this plate is an ideal base for your soldering tasks. The plate offers a specious 11.5" x 4.5" work surface that is supported by six feet and accommodates your large workpieces. Stable, with very little or no thermal expansion, this block will not contaminate your metal or act as a heat sink. The highly heat-reflective, asbestos-free firm ceramic surface focuses heat on the project. Maximum temperature is 2,000°F (1,093°C).
