Effective and easy to use, this steel hole punch is ideal for creating holes for cold connections in your jewelry designs without deforming your metal. The unique design of this punch offers increased flexibility for the placement and depth of your connection points and tight, repeatable accuracy using the built-in adjustable guide plate and gauged frame (marked in 1/4" increments). The punches, sizes 18, 16, 14 and 12-gauge, are heat treated for strength and durability; use the Allen wrench (included) to screw the needed punch through your metal. These punches accommodate soft metals up to 18-ga. thick—a single thickness or multiple thickness that total no more than 18 ga. (0.040") thick and will not crumple or otherwise deform the metal.
