Domed Third-Hand Base

This all-metal third-hand base is ideal for soldering, holding your workpiece stationary while you manipulate the torch and solder pick. The ball joint allows you to reposition your work, and a thumbscrew opens up to 1/8" to accomodate a pair of tweezers (available separately; see items 115205, 115206 and 115037). The base is weighted (3/4 lb./316g) to keep it in place, with rubber coating on the bottom to protect your work surface against scratches.
