Built with Durston’s award-winning design and engineering expertise, this planishing press and hammer is ideal for flattening gold, silver, copper, brass, platinum, palladium, titanium and more after cutting, rolling and other fabrication processes. You can also use it to emboss patterns into metal sheet.

• The planishing block is case hardened to 52 HRC and is well finished to prevent marring metal surfaces.
• A built-in recoil spring brings the striker up, making it ready to push down again making planishing faster and almost effortless.
• The body of the press is made of heavy cast iron and offers substantial weight to support the power of the striker blows.
• Pre-drilled holes in the base accept 3/8" (10mm) bolts, making it easy to mount the press to your worksurface.
