It is great for 3D printing, creating custom wedding bands, digital archiving, irregular gemstone shapes, reverse engineering, quality control, and more. The eLUXE3D Platinum uses two 8 megapixel cameras in combination with a projector to accurately scan a variety of jewelry shapes and sizes. Inside the scanner, the arm and turntable both rotate to ensure all angles are captured for an accurate, 3D scan of the piece. The dynamic scanning allows the field of view to adjust for larger items, such as bangles and cuffs. Output files are compatible with any CAD/CAM software. This scanner connects to your computer with one USB-C cable and offers one-click scanning and calibration. You can also use the preset scanning options or select the customizable scan angles. It comes with easy-to-use software (no license required) that has a short learning curve, so you’ll be scanning like a pro with just a few hours of practice.
