Italtec Flat and Round-Nose Pliers

Cut with a laser, the jaws on these Italtec forming pliers feature precision edges that provide crisp, repeatable cuts. They offer one flat and one round jaw, ideal for creating bends in wire or flat stock. Bend the wire against the flat jaw to create wider, broader bends or to make angled bends; form the wire around the round jaw to make loops, jump rings, coils and sharper curves. Forming pliers have a variety of jaw configurations designed to maximize the ability to bend, shape or form wire, strip and sheet. Use these pliers to bend ring shanks, shape earring wires and construct intricate and precise fabrications from sheet and wire. The interior surface of the jaws is smooth, reducing the risk of marring the workpiece. The jaws are made of C70 steel that is hardened to 62 HRC.

• These pliers have a lap joint, in which one half of the joint overlaps the other, and a screw is set through both halves. The screw allows the joint to be adjusted as needed.
• The double-leaf spring consists of flat, tempered metal tabs attached to the inside of each of the tool handles, positioned to meet and hold the handles apart (and the jaws open) until they are squeezed closed, delivering a fast, strong rebound for improved productivity.
