Italtec Tapered-Head Flush Cutters

Cut with a laser, the jaws on these Italtec tapered-head flush cutters feature sharp, precision edges that provide crisp, repeatable cuts; minimal; the tapered head shape provides improved access to fine details or close work areas. Flush cutters require somewhat more pressure to make a cut than super- or semi-flush cutters. Though more noticeable than that left by the super- or semi-flush, the pinch is still minimal. Cutters with a tapered head provide better reach into tight areas, but are not quite as strong as rounder heads; protect the tips against damage by cutting at the center of the jaw. The jaws are made of C70 steel hardened to 62 HRC; the jaws will not be nicked with normal use and tend to keep their shape. Clean with Cosmoline® or a similar protectant; avoid contact with moisture.
