Picard Chasing Hammer

This German chasing hammer has one large, smooth, slightly convex face for striking chasing tools or planishing metal and one round ball-end for peening and riveting. The wood handle has a narrowed neck that allows some bounce-back with each strike, producing improved control and less muscle fatigue. The head is not plated and is pre-polished to a mirror finish. Picard hammers are made with a hardened and tempered steel head that ensures a long life. The handle is crafted from Ash wood and is sealed to provide a comfortable grip.
