Rio Water-Soluble Soldering Clay

This fast-setting investment clay is a great choice for positioning all soldering tasks; it reflects heat and is an effective soldering surface. Position parts on soft wax or water-based clay, mix investment powder with water, then apply over all. Once set, remove the backing material. Solder directly onto the backs of parts without moving them, then break away clay investment by hand or remove it by quenching. Use as a holding fixture for assembly of components.
