Simulated Tanzanite 8 x 6mm Oval Faceted Gemstone

This oval simulated tanzanite a bluish-purple color and facets that catch and reflect light. By using a tinted adhesive to connect two sections of clear lab-created spinel at the girdle, creating a doublet, labs can produce consistent color throughout the gemstone. Unless the gemstone is immersed in highly refractive liquids, it is impossible to tell that only the girdle zone of a doublet has color. This simulated tanzanite displays a beautiful color. The oval cut is an even, symmetrical shape but elongated. The arrangement of its facets is similar to that of a round brilliant, designed to maximize light and color.
