This sliding caliper is equipped with a Vernier scale and crafted with finely honed jaws to accurately measure ID and OD in either inches or millimeters (accurate to 1/128" [0.2mm]). The Vernier scale improves precision by 0.2mm (this visual cue supports a more precise reading when the measurement falls between two graduations on the main scale). A comfortable thumb wheel and lock make it easy adjust to your desired measurement and lock it in to transfer that measurement to other materials. A protective plastic box is included.
