Sterling Silver Lightweight 10mm Round Tube Bezel Setting, Cast

This sterling silver tube setting holds one round faceted gemstone. Pre-formed seats provide a professional start to stone-setting and help ensure level setting—complete the setting by adjusting the seat to fit your individual stone using a setting bur. Check your stone size carefully; because gemstone sizes vary within a certain tolerance, the setting may need to be adjusted for your stone. Tube settings are literally cut from (or, as in this case, cast as) a tube with enough thickness to accommodate the built-in seat for the gemstone. The setting is finished in roughly the same way as a bezel; the tube walls are pushed inward and burnished over the girdle of the stone to hold it securely in place.
