Sterling Silver Square Twist-Pattern Wire, 0.81mm, 1/2-Hard

This 1/2-hard, sterling square twist-pattern wire is made with square wire that is twisted; this wire features 16 twists per inch and performs exceptionally well when you need to bend the wire around corners and along curves. Twist wire offers a rope-like look ideal for a variety of applications such as creating bangles, jump rings, attach rings and more. Metal that is 1/2-hard is partially work-hardened and will hold its shape under some stress; ideal for forming structures that will support other components. Keep in mind that hardness is changeable (by annealing or heat-hardening) and is relative among metal types (each temper will feel and handle differently from one metal to another). When finishing your pieces, also keep in mind that the harder the metal is, the brighter a finish it will take.
