#TR5000R Italian Flush Cutters

The smaller size and slender profile of these Italian-made flush cutters make them ideal for close work and for trimming wire ends in tight spaces. Flush cutters require somewhat more pressure to make a cut than super- or semi-flush cutters. Though more noticeable than that left by the super- or semi-flush, the pinch is still minimal. The oval head shape helps extend blade life.

  • These cutters have a lap joint; one half of the joint overlaps the other, and a screw is set through both halves, allowing the joint to be adjusted as needed.
  • The coil spring is made of a simple coil of wire tempered to hold its hardness and spring back to its original shape after being compressed; the coil is attached to the inside surface between the tool handles.
  • The ergonomic handles ensure both a secure grip and comfort over extended work periods. These cutters are made from hardened tool steel, a very hard, strong material for cutters, and forged for the best combination of strength and durability; the jaws will not be nicked with normal use and keep their shape and finish well over time. Clean with CosmolineĀ® or a similar protectant; avoid contact with moisture.
