Its 3.5" (88.9mm) diameter ceramic-embedded and recessed element reaches a working temperature of 1,600°F (871°C) with the lid in place and 1,150°F (621°C) with the lid off. Use with the drying disc set (available separately) for curing and for firing your metal clay pieces, and the red-brass covers to moderate the kiln's heat and broaden its versatility, this allows great control in order to do Keum-boo.
