Wire-Working Tapered Flat-Nose Pliers with Tip

These tapered flat-nose pliers have a stepped, sharply tapered 2mm tip that make them great for chainmail work; the tapered, narrow-ended tips allow you to get in closer to jump rings and secure a tighter grip on the ring edges as you work different weaves. On flat-nose pliers, both jaws are flat, with a smooth interior surface that helps protect the surface of metal or wire against marring.

• These pliers have a box joint; one half of the joint surrounds the other, and the pivot is contained within. This joint holds its alignment far longer than a lap joint but allows the tool to open only as far as the box size.
• The double-leaf spring consists of flat, tempered metal tabs attached to the inside of each tool handle, positioned to meet and hold the handles apart (and the jaws open) until they are squeezed closed.
