This dead-soft, sterling silver double half-round wire is ideal for ring shanks, bails and custom pendants or buckles. It offers a flat surface that makes it great for wire-wrapping on flat components and helps makes soldering more effective while presenting a round profile in your designs. The wire is great for creating loops, links and jump rings that have a flat inner surface. Dead soft wire is easy to bend, shape and hammer; it is an ideal starting point for forming, shaping and wire-wrapping. Keep in mind that hardness is changeable (by annealing or heat-hardening) and is relative among metal types (each temper will feel and handle differently from one metal to another).
