Sterling Silver Flattened Pattern Twist Wire, Soft

This soft, sterling silver flattened twist-pattern wire offers a decorative two-strand, rope-like look ideal for a variety of applications such as creating bangles, jump rings, attach rings and more. This wire is hammered flat, producing a flat wire that presents a twist pattern. It performs exceptionally well when you need to bend the wire around corners and along curves. Soft wire is easy to bend, shape and hammer; it is an ideal starting point for forming, shaping and wire-wrapping. Keep in mind that hardness is changeable (by annealing or heat-hardening) and is relative among metal types (each temper will feel and handle differently from one metal to another). When finishing your pieces, also keep in mind that the harder the metal is, the brighter a finish it will take.
